Post a video of 6 people beating another while the one is begging to be let go, and millions come to view it within hours. Leave a posting showing the trampled mutilated body of a bull fighter, and someone will develop a website around that photo. Leave a forum unlocked and within two days literally hundreds of people have come and posted porn, smut, and vulgarities. Yet, ask for one person to share a random act of kindness and wait forever. Why is that? How can that be? I know many, many people and no one talks or acts like that. Within day to day conversations everyone would welcome the chance to do something, anything, to reach out and truly help someone in need. Here is that chance. Look around you, maybe its the elederly couple down the street, who need your help. You know the ones that you complain about the eyesore their yard is evertime you drive by it. So go knock upon their door and offer your kindness. What? What, do you mean they are no longer a couple, the husband passed weeks ago, and while you were complaining about their yard the grass grew. The grass the kind gentle lady of the house can no longer cut from behind the push mower her husband used to push for her. The grass that may as well have been growing horizontally instead of vertically, due to the divide it created between you and her. Yes, while you were answering your cell phone as you drove by that day you did not notice the ambulance leaving, with no sounds of sirens, there was nothing to even alert you to its presence. Yet now, with a simple act of kindness and stopping for just a second in your endeavors you my gather rich knowledge from this wise old women. You may find a lightness in your heart you had been looking for for years. You may find a friend, and you may start looking around you every day to find something to call a success. I know most of us prefer to do something to help, but time has gotten a terrible way of elluding us to the point of not having any for others. It's up to you, can you find the time?
